4 Way Swivel Base Kit

Description

Replacement base kit for older 4 Way Swivel PowerPod models. Includes PB4502 reinforced base and thruhull assembly.

This item should only be ordered if you have been advised by NavPod staff that it is the correct part for your NavPod.

This item ships with the set screw for the thruhull locking nut half installed. Once you have installed the new base and thruhull and adjusted the nut to the desired tightness, you will simply need to drill through the nut and thruhull and re-install the small set screw. Because the thruhull is plastic and the set screw is small, the hole does not need to be tapped. Just drill the hole for the set screw slightly smaller than the set screw itself. The set screw is #4-40, so the recommended drill size is #43 (with 3/32″ as the closest fractional equivalent). Just let us know if you have any further questions regarding this process.
